WIDOPUR-Primer FTE
WIDOPUR-Primer FTE is a single component primer used as a bonding agent on thermoplastic and elastomer sheets and as a primer for WIDOSIL-WSG.
WIDOPUR-Primer FTE adheres on different tested surfaces made from TPO, FPO, EPDM and other plastic membranes. Furthermore, it may be used as adhesive component for liquid waterproofing with WIDOCRYL-Detail on window glass.
The Primer is applied by brush or cloth.
Tests should generally be made on curing and adhesion to the surface.
Basis
Chemically modified, chlorinated polypropylene, dissolved in xylene
Consumption
ca. 40,0 g/m² with FPO-/TPO-roofing sheets, ca. 60,0 g/m² with EPDM- roofing sheets
Curing time
Coatings can be applicated after 10 to 60 minutes (depending on the temperature)

Storage
If container is kept closed and storage temperature held constantly between +15°C and +25°C, the product may be used for up to 6 months.
Surface preparation
The surface to be primed must be dry, free from dust, grease or oil, and have good adhesion and load-bearing properties.
The primer should be applied pore sealing.
