WIDOPAN-Special tape

WIDOPAN-Special tape is used for connecting liquid waterproofing on synthetic sealing membranes made from TPO. The special tape consists of modified synthetic caoutchouc, laminated with a polyester fleece.

The surface of the TPO-membrane should be cleaned with WIDOPAN-Cleaner MEK, no priming is necessary.

Storage
If original package is stored in a cool and dry place, product may be used for up to 24 months.

After that, the protective foil is removed and the Special tape is stuck onto the prepared place and then fixed with a rubber roller as used for the manual welding of roofing membranes. Entrapped air has to be removed with the rubber roller. The reinforced liquid waterproofing is then applied directly onto the polyester fleece side of the tape. There is no waiting time, however, it has to be as-sured that the fleece topping of the WIDOPAN-Special tape does not get wet.

The WIDOPAN-Special tape adheres perfectly to almost any surface.
