WIDOCRYL-Detail FA / FA thix

WIDOCRYL-Detail FA is a two-component fibre-reinfoced liquid waterproofing system. It may be used for performing emergency sealing or repair works. The material basis of WIDOCRYL-Detail FA is urethane-modified methyl methacrylate resin (PMMA)

WIDOCRYL-Detail FA thix is a more thixotropic version of WIDOCRYL-Detail FA. The information given in this data sheed applies to both products.

Application

After the catalyst powder has been added, WIDOCRYL-Detail FA may be applied by using a trowel or a spatula. The material has to be applied in such a way that it forms a closed, coherent film.

Storage
If container is kept closed and storage temperature held constantly below + 25°C, the product may be used for up to 6 months.

Mixing

Before adding the catalyst powder, WIDOCRYL-Detail FA needs to be stirred thoroughly. The agitator should be moving slowly whilst the catalyst powder is added. Due to the short processing time, only small amounts should be mixed with the catalyst powder. The amount of catalyst powder needed depends on the temperature. The dosage is mentioned on the lid.

Surface preparation

The surface must be load bearing, dry (max. 6% residual humidity), free from dust, oil and grease, absorbent and free from loose parts and concrete slurry. Colour coatings and separating parts also need to be removed.

Application areas

The material may be used e.g. for repair works on roof areas or for connections and also if it is not possible to perfom the works using a fleece as reinforcement e.g. because the area is hard to reach.
