Floor coating systems

Floors in Garages, industrial production facilities, workshops and warehouses are some of the most stressed areas of a building. They are permanently exposed to mechanical loads, e.g. by vehicles, manual pallet lifters and forklift trucks.However, also chemical stress e.g. by cleaning agents, oil or substances used in special production areas, are important factors.

Floorcoatings protect the underlaying structures in the long term and are highly durable. In many areas there are special requirements to anti slip properties of floors. Various slip resistances can be acchieved by scattering in order to increase security, especially in work shops or production areas.

For many kinds of appliation, Widopan offers the matching floor coating. WIDOCRYL-Rollercoating can be used for fast redevelopments with a slip resistant coating. Since it is based on a MMA-resin, it has a very short curing time so that areas concerned don’t need to be blocked for a long time. WIDOCRYL-Rollercoating has a certified antis slip resistance of R11.

Alternatively, WIDOPOX-SC system may be used for coating the floor. It is based on a epoxy resin. Epoxy resins are mechanically and chemically highly stressable. By sprinkling various kinds of quartz sands, the WIDOPOX-SC system may be applied with different slip restistances or even as a smooth floor covering. Floor coverings made from Epoxy mostly have a shiny finish. By applying WIDOPUR-Sealing LF 2K, the surface may be matted. In addition, the matt sealing improves the wear and scratch restistance.
