WIDOSEAL-LF 1K FA (with fibres)

WIDOSEAL-LF 1K FA is a solvent free, one component liquid waterproofing with fibres suitable for flameless application of emergency waterproofing or for areas which are hard to reach. The material basis of WIDOSEAL-LF 1K is an SMP.

Applicaton

WIDOSEAL-LF 1K FA may be applied using a trowel or a spatula to create a coherent, closed film.

There is a foil on the material within the bucket which has to be removed before using the material. Then, the material needs to be stirred thoroughly with a slowly rotating agitator.

Once the container has been opened, the material should be used up swiftly. Should the material form a thin firm layer in the container, this can easily be removed and the remaining material may be used up.

Storage
If container is kept closed and storage temperature held constantly below + 25°C the product may be used for up to 6 months.

Application areas

The material may be used when it is not possible to perform works using fleece for reinforcement, e.g. because the area is hard to reach. It is mainly used on roof areas or for connections (WIDOSEAL-LF 1K FA does not correspond to the requirements according to the flat roof guidelines).

Surface preparation

WIDOSEAL-LF 1K FA adheres to most surfaces without primers, given that the surfaces are dry (max. 5% residual moisture), free from grease/oil, loose parts and any other adhesion-reducing materials.
