WIDOCRYL-Special Primer PM
WIDOCRYL-Special Primer PM is a priming system consisting of a low-viscosity colorless reaction resin, based on methyl methacrylate and a hardener powder.
Application
WIDOCRYL-Special Primer PM is a primer with excellent adhesion to metals (e.g. iron, aluminium, zinc, non-ferrous metals and stainless steel), as well as to glass. WIDOCRYL-Special Primer PM may only be used without filler.
Tests should generally be made on curing and adhesion to the surface.

Storage
If container is kept closed and storage temperature held constant between + 15°C und + 20°C, the product may be used for up to 6 months.
Surface preparation
The surface to be primed must be dry, free from dust, grease or oil, and have good adhesion and load-bearing properties. Loose or high-lying tiles must be removed. Before application of the primer, metal surfaces must be prepared corrosion free by sanding or blast-cleaning.
Mixing
The amount of hardener required is dependent on temperature. For details see container lid.
The special primer should be applied as a film, pore sealing, and basically should be sprinkled with quartz sand of grain size 0.3 – 0.8 mm.
If this cannot be achieved within one working process, a second priming layer has to be applied.
