WIDOCRYL-SP

The material basis of WIDOCRYL-SP is a low viscous,  elasticised methyl methacrylate resin.

It is used for coating within the WIDOCRYL-OS 8 System, sprinkled with quartz sand and then sealed with WIDOCRYL-Topsiegel OS. After the primer, e.g. WIDOCRYL-Primer CP, has cured the material can be applied. The surface to be primed must be dry, clean and free from grease and dust.

Storage
If containers are kept close and storage temperature held constantly between +15° und +20° C, the product may be used for up to 6 months.

Mixing

Before adding the components, WIDOCRYL-SP has to be stirred thoroughly. First, WIDOCRYL-SP Powder will be mixed in (mixing ratio: SP-Powder 1,5 kg : 1,0 kg WIDOCRYL-SP). Then, the hardener is added. The amount of hardener needed depends on the temperature. The dosage is mentioned on the lid of the packaging. Both components should be stirred thoroughly (stirring time approx. 2 min.). Due to the short pot life after the hardener has been added, we recommend to prepare only small amounts.

Application

The finished mixture is spreaded on the surface. It can be spreaded/applied with a rubber slider or a squeege and then treated with a paint roller. Afterwards, approx. 2,8kg/m² quartz sand (grain size 0,3 – 0,8 mm) is sprinkled into the wet WIDOCRYL-SP.
